Kenku Tools' RPG Stamps are a new line of 5cm x 5cm (~2" x ~2") pre-inked stamps designed to make mementos for you or your players' adventures in any role playing game system.

Whenever a player reaches a major milestone, whether that's surviving an ambush, killing a boss, completing a quest, or even dying, you can use the stamp to mark their character sheet and create a history of that character's adventures.

We were inspired by Goodman Games' prized R.I.P. stamps for Dungeon Crawl Classics. We initially set out to create our own line of R.I.P. stamps to be used with the deadly DCC funnels and tournaments (where player death is very common), but we've extended the idea to other roleplaying systems with our Character Record sheet.

Print out these sheets and hand them out to your players; they can attach the page to the back of their character sheet. Whenever you want to mark a major milestone, pass the appropriate stamp around and have players mark the event.

Our stamps are self-inking "Flash" stamps that have a great size and impression, and are perfect for gaming. They are very easy to transport (lightweight and compact), and include a plastic cover to ensure your ink doesn't dry out.

Each stamp comes in your choice of black, blue, red, brown, green, pink, or purple ink.

You can find our Facebook Page here. Our Instagram is here.

We have more stamps and style ideas that can be made available via stretch goals. Including stamps designed for Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic, and Cyberpunk settings.

The Self-Inking Stamps

Prototype Stamp
Prototype Stamp

These stamps are "Flash" style self-inking stamps. They are built with a tough plastic shell and are rated to provide about 5,000 impressions. We have been using these prototypes in our game nights and at cons for about 6 months and haven't seen any sign of the ink drying up.

Stamp Styles

Our stamp style: "R.I.P." was originally designed to commemorate character deaths in 0-Level Dungeon Crawl Classics "Funnel" games. Players get a stamp to not only indicate a character has died, but also an epitaph so that they will be remembered for how they lived (and what stopped them from living!) This makes a fun souvenir for players at cons, and a unique keepsake for new and experienced DCC players alike.

In less lethal campaigns, this could be used to mark the defeat of a major opponent, or the death of a major ally NPC.

In testing, we've found "You Have Survived" stamps to be a great way to track encounters and experience across game sessions. Each time players survive an encounter, pass the stamp around with a description of the encounter "Hag's Hollow", "The Oni's Deathtrap", "Owlbear Mama", etc. Players can mark their experience or any other relevant notes.

Quests are close-to-universal in fantasy RPGs, so we thought it would be a good idea to include this as our third stamp. Players can mark information about the quest, and any experience, titles, or treasure earned.

Character Records

We have two styles of Character Record sheet for you to track your characters.

Download Inksaver version of Vintage Character Record here.

Players fill in their character records as they complete milestones with their stamps. When they have completely filled a sheet, print out another, and attach it.

This is a great way not only to track a party and character's history, but also to track XP earned from battles and quest completion.

Stretch Goals

We have a number of stretch goals which if unlocked will increase the number of styles, ink colors, and extra stuff you get for backing us in the campaign.

Our first stretch goal was to unlock an additional stamp design which can be purchased alone or switched into any 3-stamp set. The second stretch goal is a FREE Character "Passport" books with each stamp. These are small books that make great memoirs of your PC's adventure. Each stamp will ship with one book free. They can also be purchased as an Add-On.

Add-Ons

Bits & Pips Hand-Sewn Dice Bag

These are fantastic dice bags hand-sewn here in Los Angeles. The dice bags are made of cotton fabric with a vibrant exterior print and a matching colored lining fabric. They feature 2 ribbon drawstrings for a tight closure. The bag is 5.5" tall and has a 4" diameter round bottom.

We met the owners at a local convention, and have been buying their bags ever since. These have fantastically strong stitches (I have yet to have one show any sign of damage even with heavy use.)

We have an exclusive design for Kenku Press being offered as well as a few more styles specifically designed for RPG players. You will be able to customize your own bag and select the exterior fabric print, interior fabric color, and ribbon color.
